Mrs. Hudson |
I spoke to Mrs. Hudson on Friday the 27th, she
will not be able to attend the reunion,
grandaughter is getting married that weekend.
This lady remembers everyone and everything! Oh
the stories she can tell! I had a blast talking
to her. So we are going to make her along with
Mrs. Gearheart (who is battling cancer) a
scrapbook. We will sign it and once everyone has
downloaded their pictures send them to me and we
will print them and put then in the scrapbook and
send them to them. So make sure if you had either
teacher, to take a speical pic of you for them.

Im memory of Paul L Skipper. |
Today 21 years ago, NCHS was in complete sorrow.
That morning Mr. Collier announced that our
friend and fellow classmate, Paul Skipper had
passed away that morning. Shock and sadness
filled our school, the halls were quiet, and
friends held on to each other. The next few days
were a blur to most, and trying to understand how
this could happen to such a kind, caring and
wonderful person.
I think this changed the school, the students and
the entire way we thought about life. Most of us
had never lost a friend, some of us had never
lost anyone close to us. The school and the
student body were never the same.
Paul was a positive role model, a true and loyal
friend, a great student and a gifted athlete.
Paul never said a bad thing about anyone; he
always looked on the bright side of everything.
Quiet, friendly and an all around good guy.
Please keep his parents in your thoughts and
prayers, always keep Paul in your heart and
remember that one-day we will all see him again.

Tonight I found three of NCHS's coaches.. Coach
Larry Dangerfield, Coach W. Council and Coach Jim
Hart.
Coach Dangerfield is doing great. He is retired
and enjoying being a grandpa. His email is in
the email address.
Coach Council is living in North Carolina.
Coach Hart is living in CHarleston, he has
suffered a stroke and dont get out much. But
would love to hear from former students.. Email
me for his phone number..
